Through this project, OROAGRI EUROPE aims to bring biological, physical and computer resources together in an international hub for the entire group to conduct exploratory plant phenotyping projects in Portugal. The objective of this project, entitled OroBioPheno, is to connect the different components needed to build a high-speed (semi-automated) phenotyping facility, which will become OROAGRI’s gateway to this technology. OROAGRI intends to develop and validate two new smart biostimulant platforms based on phenotypic assessments. The products planned as a result of this project aim to make considerable advances in the development of biostimulants and fertilizers that help to mitigate atmospheric pollution while feeding plants, as well as providing important leverage for new proprietary technologies patented by ORO-AGRI, enabling the generation of a comprehensive range of agricultural protection products unparalleled in the sector’s current portfolio.
