In September 2024, Rovensa Next proudly celebrated its official launch in Egypt, marking the beginning of its operations across the Middle East, North Africa, and Türkiye, with the impressive view of the Great Pyramids of Giza as a backdrop.
The event opened with an inspiring speech from Javier Calleja, our CEO. Rovensa Next’s CCO, Riccardo Vanelli, was also in attendance and introduced the company as a global business unit specialising in biosolutions. They both emphasised Rovensa Next’s commitment to driving sustainability in agriculture through innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of growers worldwide.
Following their remarks, Sameh Mostafa, our Middle East & North Africa Director, shared insights on the local market, highlighting the specific challenges faced by the agricultural sector in the region and how Rovensa Next’s range of biosolutions is designed to address these challenges and deliver impactful results.
The event also featured memorable experiences with key local distributors in the region. These long-standing partners were invited to speak at the meeting, showcasing the strong collaboration that has developed between them and Rovensa Next over the years. They shared the success stories that have shaped the growth of sustainable agriculture in Egypt and outlined their shared vision for a future rooted in continuous innovation and environmental stewardship.
Additionally, the gathering included most of our main clients, who were highly impressed by the launch. They had the opportunity to engage in meaningful discussions with our CEO, CCO and Regional Director about how twelve companies have joined forces under the umbrella of Rovensa Next to become one business unit. The attendance of the entire Rovensa Next MENA team on the ground provided a unique platform for fostering conversations about the future of sustainable agriculture in Egypt and the region.
